Course Outline

In this section, you will be introduced to botulinum toxin and its use for aesthetic purposes. You will learn the basics about rhytide improvement in the upper face (glabellar complex, forehead, and crow’s feet) as well as hyperhidrosis management using botulinum toxin. You will learn how to handle and store the neurotoxin and how to assess and dose your patient to give them the optimal aesthetic results.

Injectable fillers

 

In this section, you will learn about hyaluronic acid dermal fillers and the variety of products we have on the market in Canada. You will learn how to choose the right filler for the appropriate treatment area in the face. You will also focus on vascular anatomy to ensure you remain safe while injecting and avoid complications. The focus will be on the basic areas including midface, nasolabial, marionettes, and lips.
